Unit 3 Reflection

This week we discussed our Unit 3 reflection.
Convection begins with a source of thermal energy heating a gas or liquid near it, continues with those particles moving faster and further apart causing it to rise over the colder air or gas, and ends with that cold falling, heating up and rising above the hot air that had turned cold, creating a cycle.

Inward-Looking
The work we did this week made me realize that I learn better with visual support. I saw that sometimes long articles were confusing, but once I saw a picture that condensed all the info and made it simpler to imagine, I understood better.

Outward-Looking
When people look at my notes and work, I want them to notice how I strive to include all the info Miss. Heavy gives us, by writing down extra details and writing down sentences she said that make it easier to understand.

Forward-Looking
One thing I saw on Olivia's notes is that she highlighted vocab words in order to quickly access them and find definitions. I would like to try this for next unit because I feel like it could be very useful when studying for the final exam and retaining info better by drawing attention to the sentence.

  1. Great reflection! I am going to be adding more visuals to our CWs and HWs because several students have said that the pictures really helped.

    Thanks for the feedback!
